7 Simple habit Systems you can use Anytime during your day

Most people try improving their life by adding habits, or a strict daily routine.

That can work but the problem is life is unpredictable day by day, and their habits don’t stick long term.

So instead of trying to make a perfect schedule, I have 7 habit ” systems” you can use starting today!

You don’t have to follow these in order, but think of them as ” tools” that you can use when you need them, so lets get started!

  1. Morning setup: So after your morning routine, you need to first setup your environment. Ideally you clean your work space the night before so its fresh and ready for when you wake up!

Then you are going to want to add these 3 habits:

-. Open your online notes that you use ( such as Google docs), things like food plan, workout plan, ideas to apply today, etc. ( more on this later).

-. Check your important emails: so for this you have 2 options. A. Set a 10 or 15 minute timer to check all emails for today or B. Just check your important and urgent emails. Your choice!.

-. Setup your habit tracking papers: so for this is the papers so that after you finish a habit you write it down like: free success videos: ( 1 thing to apply), 2. Courses: ( 1 thing to apply), etc.

2. Organize: When your work environment feels messy, cluttered, or makes you feel stressed then what you need to do is set a timer and it could be as simple as 5 minutes to: Sweep your space, clean papers on floor, clean your desk, get some folders to organize papers by habits and/or subjects, etc.

Because a clean and clear work environment= A lot easier to take action and a lot less procrastination!

3. Learn + Test: Don’t just consume information, also apply it: So you notice you might have stacks of papers, notebooks, lots of google docs. Full of notes. But the problem is the more you let those stack without using any of the information to improve your life, the more confused and the more you procrastinate. Because you don’t see the value in learning, and more notes= can be more confusing on what to do next.

So what you want to do is set a time a day to apply the notes that you learned from books, courses, free success videos, mentors, etc. Such as 60 minutes a day, or start small like 5 minutes a day.

You can also test potential video ideas if you want to build a personal brand or do content marketing on social media!

So after you learn something you can do this: 1. Tell yourself exactly how you will apply this today. 2. You can record a video telling yourself exactly how you will apply what you learned today. ( if you want to do videos for social media try 2 so you are less shy in front of a camera!)

You also want a way to measure the results of the ideas that you tested: Usually this is with numbers like: Views, watch time, weight gained, weight lost, etc.

4. Improve: You want to focus on improving today but also improving long term:

So here are Some habits you can do when you want to improve today and tomarrow:

  1. 2-5 minutes improving todays and long term goals: So you open a Google doc and name it ” Life goals and dreams in detail”: So you can add more goals, you can make the goals more detail like instead of I want to make $10,000 a month, you could say I want to make $10,000 a month by the time I turn 25.
  2. Adjust your daily/weekly food plan: So from your health books and videos that you learned, or from your coach, etc. You want to spend 5 minutes or so improving your food plan, so it could be adding healthy food, removing healthy food, adding food with more protein so you get the right amount, adding list of things to make a protein shake, etc.
  3. Adjust your workout plan: This can be 5 minutes or so improving your workout, post workout, pre workout, and stretching plan. So ideas from a coach, fitness books, videos. etc

5. Contribute: One of the best ways to get support is by supporting others:

Most people today are selfish: They only focus on the money, or only want fancy items for themselves, or to show off. But one of the best ways to actually get support to grow say a personal brand is to help others grow their personal brands. Reciprocity,

So here are some habits that you can start today to start adding value and helping others:

  • On social media comments in your niche post comments that help others, or make them happy and more motivated to keep improving
  • Share your progress: so you could take people on a self improvement journey with you, like sharing what healthy food you are eating, sharing what books you are reading, etc. And helping others who have questions.
  • Helping people in person: Donate to a food shelf, give money to the homeless like Mr beast, etc.

Remember: You grow faster when you give, not just consume!

6. Think: This is one of the most important habits that you can add to your life:

So you can use Google docs, or if you want less screen time and no distractions then you can use pen and paper:

Start by writing the times you can think and write:

  • When eating ( think while eating and stop once in a while to write)
  • Bathroom ( think while using bathroom, and write out thoughts when done)
  • When cleaning ( sweeping, washing clothes, washing dishes, etc)

Bascily during at home physical tasks that don’t take much thinking or awareness.

2 ways to think:

  • 1. Is at the top of the paper or Google doc: write something that you want to improve or a problem that you want to solve. or 2. Brain storm ideas
  • What times should I think: When you are at home and doing physical tasks that don’t require much thinking such as: – Bathroom ( think then went done write ideas), – Eating: ( pen and paper when eating, and once in a while stop to write), Cleaning: ( Sweeping floor, washing clothes, cleaning desk, etc)
  • Then reflect
  • You can start as small like 15 minutes a day sit with just a pen and paper and write out your thoughts!

7. Question: Ask yourself these questions:

  • For each of your success habits ask ” why” ( Why am I doing this, what’s my return on time invested, what’s the end daily goal for this habit? So that way you know each habit that you do actually gives you daily progress!
  • You could add this self reflection questions in your night routine: – What is 1 reason why I procrastinated today? Example: I got bored when reading. – 1 improvement I made today for __?
  • This way you know that you are making progress everyday in your life, and you become aware of the reasons on why you procrastinate!

Remember: You don’t need to do these 7 systems in order, just use the one that you need in that moment that would be most helpful for you right then!
