When I talk about success habits I mean multiple different areas in your life, today I will talk about the money/business side of success habits. Their are other habits you can build like: morning routine, night routine, food plan, workout plan, etc. But these are 16 simple money habits that build a strong foundation especially if you want to work to start an online business eventually!
#1: Free Success Videos: ( 1 learning question): Action plan: Everyday ask yourself ” what is something specific that I want to improve in my life today”? Examples: make better social media hooks, eat more healthy calories, best foods to add to my weekly diet, best stocks to invest in,etc. ( Then you set a 20 minute timer and keep going until you find 1 thing to apply to that question to take action, or until the 20 minute timer is done. – Start with YouTube!
#2: Courses: ( 1 thing learned today to use): Action Plan: This is for more advanced learning! So you want to set a 20 minute timer and keep going until the timer is done of you write something that you can apply today to your life.
#3: Reading: 40 pages ( 10 pages of each book: money, healthy eating, workout, communication)- 1 thing to apply today from each book: Action plan: You can read multiple books at once to improve multiple different areas of your life. You can start small by just focusing on 1 book first and then over time go to 4 books or 40 pages a day total.
#4: Book Reviews: ( 1 star review and 5 star review) ( Your business niche or area you want to help with or learn about)- On any book website like Amazon for example. Study your ideal audience struggles and desires: learn from a total of 2 comments: on Quora, Reddit, etc. Action plan: start with searching on Amazon about your niche like ” productivity books” then look at 1 star review= 1 complaint, and 5 star review= 1 thing that book did right. ( Use that as feedback for your own brand). And 2nd on like Reddit: ( on a ground like productivity group) look at comments where people talk about things that they are struggling with like 2 total comments and write how you can solve that problem for them) ( 2 Amazon, 2 Reddit done)
#5: Study 1 smart marketer: 3 observations and try the best lesson learned: Action plan: On a social media account with 100k+ followers you want to study what they do to be successful, and they you want to use one idea to improve your own brand. like title structure, do they use lot of words or few words for the hook, etc.
#6: Improve the following list: In your niche: small accounts ( 30-40+), Big accounts ( 30-40+), Smartest marketers ( 30-40+) accounts. Action plan: Set say a 12 minute daily timer and a Google docs of all the social media accounts that you are following, and follow accounts that are 1. fast growing, 2. Have already decent or a lot of comments, 3. When you comment it gets engaged, 4. high quality content or are improving the quality of their content.
#7: Send 10 business direct messages a day across all platforms: ( and reply 20 times a day to business/networking messages) Action plan: for your social media when you get a networking message reply to it for collabs , promote each others profile, business feedback, etc.
#8: 10 comments a day in self improvement groups: Action Plan: For this habit my favorite is Facebook groups about success: like money groups, health groups, etc. You want to leave 10 comments a day that add value, ask a question or a reply to other comments. ( Bonus: like comments with little or no likes to get more reach!)
#9: Networking Each social media platform I will comment __ Amount of times a day. ( for small accounts, big accounts, smartest marketers), you can also choose the platforms. ( Add value, ask questions, reply to other comments). Action plan: on a paper write the amount of total comments per platform for example for me: tiktok= 9 comments, facebook= 9 comments, Instagram= 9 comments, Twitter/X= 9 comments. For a total of 36 comments a day. You can choose to add or lower this number, just do some research on how many max comments you should do a day on each platform for best results!
#10: 15-20 minute nap: Action Plan: This is a simple yet powerful habit, thought the day you will do lots of success habits and a lot of them take a lot of mental energy, so with this quick habit you can recharge your brain and body so you can keep going strong.
#11: 1 Thing to apply today from your old notes: Action Plan: Overtime you likely have a lot of notes from all the stuff you learned from books, videos,etc. So what you want to do is set a timer could be 5 or 10 minutes or so, read through your notes and find 1 thing that you can apply today to improve your life.
#12: Think of __ to ( 1 thing I want to improve: In your life and/or others lives for?). Action Plan: Set a 15 minute timer and get a pen and paper or Google docs or online notes and at the top write something that you want to improve like ” Go to sleep earlier”, and then for the 15 minutes brainstorm ideas for that question, and this can also help you get content ideas!
#13: Ideas for: 1 small/big problem I want to solve today ? life’s or for?. Also ideas for: 1 small/big problem I want to solve in my life today. Action Plan: Again set a 15 minute timer with paper or online notes: And write a problem your audience has and think of like 7 or 10 step plan to solve that struggle/problem, and 7 or 10 ideas to solve a problem or struggle that you have in your life.
#14: Write for today’s stuff: ( Social media outlines, business email outline, etc). Action Plan: On a Google doc you want to write outlines for your content like: Title:__, Items used in video:__, etc. And when done to track habit progress just write the total number of words wrote.
#15: Organizing your phone apps: Action Plan: Likely you will use your phone if you want to make money online or with assets, so this way it keeps the best most helpful apps on your phone, and keeps it looking clean and organized for maximum productivity!
#16: Financial numbers track: Action Plan: This is an extremely important habit! Track your numbers on a paper and/or Google doc or finance apps. ( just make sure you get the numbers right)
Conclusion: There are multiple areas in your life you might want to do with success habits like health, happiness, etc. But these are 16 simple money habits that you can start today, if you want to start by doing like 5 minutes for each habit a day or start with the ones that you find easiest like #16!
